Boundaries

The boundaries of the Old Shandon Neighborhood Association are basically the same as the boundaries for the Old Shandon Local Historic District Protection Area. These boundaries are approximately:

• On the east, the parcels on the eastern side of Maple Street
• On the west, Santee Street
• On the north, Cherry Street and parcels on the north side of Cypress Street
• On the south, a line approximately down the middle of the block between Devine Street and Lee Street.

The western part of this area is also represented by the Martin Luther King Association. People in the overlapping area are free to go to meetings of either or both associations.
